"Soaring over a Verdant Landscape" captures the thrill of flight through the eyes of the formation itself — vintage TOOTSIE TOY U.S. Army warbirds banking and diving above a quilt of green fields far below. I loved the challenge of painting that worn, chipped metal catching the light alongside the richness of the landscape. There's something so alive about planes in motion, and I wanted the viewer to feel like they're right there in the open sky.
