Little Iso Dreams

oil on canvas with a black wood frame.
I saw this little guy at the Reno car show. It was so small compared to the american cars parked next to it. There were so many people coming by to stare at this little oddity and wondering what it was. I loved these micro cars for their ingenuity. They answered the need of the time for Europeans in the late 50s with the gas shortage. Iso made refrigerators and it was their design that BMW bought and manufactured and it was a huge success. One of the more popular micro cars of the time. My title of "Little Iso Dreams" is in reference to this little guy thinking about when it was a hero of its day.
